After I accidentally snapped my Nissan key fob in half, the little key symbol on the dashboard started flashing nonstop. Turns out, the internal chip got misaligned, so I had to carefully open the casing, reposition the tiny circuit board, and use a dab of superglue to hold it in place. Once I clicked the two halves back together and tested it in the ignition, the warning light finally turned off.
