그러나 일부 불법 회사의 신용카드결제, 구글아이디어사용료, 테블릿소액결제현금화 서비스 진행 시 개인 정보를 빼돌려 악용하는 스미싱 등 관련 피해 사례 역시 보고 되고 있다. 따라서 사용자들은 서비스 이용 전 피해 예방 수칙을 반드시 확인하고 이를 준수해야 한다.

핸드폰 소액결제는 당월 사용한 결제 자본이 핸드폰 요금으로 빠져나가는 구조다. 결제월과 취소월이와 같은 경우 스마트폰 요금에서 미청구되고 승인 취소가 가능하다. 허나 결제월과 취소월이 다를 경우에는 스마트폰 요금에서 이미 출금됐기 때문에 승인 취소가 불가하다.
